We have received the following update from a member regarding notice requirements for Toronto discharge applications:

Associate Justice Ilchenko and Associate Justice Rappos have advised that all known creditors must be served with notice of a discharge application, per BIA 169(6). Effective immediately, hearings for which service was provided only to proven creditors, per Re Wood (1987), will be adjourned.   

In addition, the court office has asked that members wait one month before following up for copies of AJ Rappos' endorsements and orders. He is splitting his time between civil and bankruptcy, and is still adjusting to the demands of his dual role.
