The session is open to Licensed Insolvency Trustees and Estate Administrators. The seminar will be followed by OAIRP's Annual General Meeting.

Real Estate Pre-Sale Agreements in Insolvency Proceedings
- If a developer or project goes into bankruptcy or receivership, what happens to the existing pre-sale agreements?
- What are the rights and obligations of the trustee/receiver, the unit purchaser, the asset purchaser, the developer, and other parties (i.e. Tarion, HCRA, etc.)?
- How does the Court view these situations, and what will the Court consider when making a decision vis-à-vis termination of pre-sale agreements?
- What impact, if any, has the change in market conditions in recent months had on these situations?
